Collapsible stock for shooting prone?

Is a collapsible stock better for shooting prone than a fixed stock? I have a DPMS SASS that I will, hopefully, be trying out this weekend. It has a Magpul ACS stock on it now. I had been thinking about a PRS stock but I wonder how it would be prone.
Would it be better to just keep the ACS so I can adjust the length to keep proper eye relief on the scope, or is this not usually a problem?

I've always tried to keep the same cheek weld regardless of position. Going by that, a properly fitted rifle shouldn't require any adjustment between positions. I vote PRS, but whatever you can get a comfortable and REPEATABLE position with will work just fine.
