Gunsmithing Color fill gun lettering, which products and procedures?

Can you guys point me in the right direction on which paints to use, and your procedure for applying it?

Dang, I dont even make the mall ninja team. I swiped some of my wife's nail polish, painted it over the lettering, then wiped the excess away with polish remover. As long as it's still relatively wet that same method should work with most paints as well.

Lacquer Sticks (last I saw brownells had a few colors) Its what Ive always used to fill in the engraving on my name tag after polishing.
