So not really "Tactical Match" but some info on stage designs are coming out... There will be ranges up to 500 yards. The sponsor list keeps growing. We plan to release more sponsor info in the coming weeks so keep an eye on the web site. I'm not directly involved with the match setup and design, I'm doing the website for the match. Any questions for the Sponsor Coordinator or Match Director need to go though the links on the web site. I may be able to answer simple questions about the match.

I'll be shooting the match and really looking forward to it.

Re: Colorado State Multi-Gun Championship

I'm thinking about signing up for this match, so I looked into the class. I contacted MarkP about doing a webcam for folks that aren't in the front range, he responded positively:

"Looked at the details of doing a web cam. A live feed won't be feasible. However, we are going to film it and make an on-line format available."

That makes a nice alternative to a 6 hour drive for a 3 hour class.

Re: Colorado State Multi-Gun Championship

I want to sign up for the class,(e-mail sent) but I wont be able to attend the match.

That's during our Girls Basketball Regionals my granddaughter would kick my butt if I missed her game (haven't missed on in 4 years since she started in the 6th grade)

But, since high power is scares in thse parts, I'd like to start hitting 3g/Mg matches after Basketball Season.

Re: Colorado State Multi-Gun Championship

The webcam idea is an excellent one. Hopefully mark can pull it together. If all else fails I can see if we can video it and then post it on YouTube? I've got a nice Digital SLR that shoots HD video but I'm not sure how much my 8gb card will hold. I doubt it would be 3 hours worth of video.

Re: Colorado State Multi-Gun Championship

Well the match was a raging success. We all had a great time! The weather really improved on Saturday and Sunday...

Here's a quick summary from the Range Master of the match, Mark Passamaneck...

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Thanks so much to Jansen and Rob of Team Noveske for taking the chance of being the title sposnor of this match!

Division Winners were Rob Romero in Heavy-Limited, Don Bednorz in Open, Eric Miller in Tactical, and John Beazley in Limited. Geoff Lawhorn won the shootoff running only 0.06 seconds over his dial-in.

Thanks so much to our Gold Sponsors, Montana Gold and Sierra Bullets. Burris, Brownells, Ergo, MGM Targets, Nordic, Stag, DPMS, Warne were all stage sponsors or helped out in a significant way. Thanks to ALL of our Sponsors!

The CROs not only designed, and for the most part set up their stages, but ran them as well. Scott and Bill are nuts...They worked, and shot 3 matches on three weekends and were an immense help to me.

The staff had to rebuild 7 stages once and three of the stages twice due to storms that blew through on Wednesday and Thursday. It seriously looked like a trailer park after a tornado on Friday morning. They had to rebuild walls, find new barrels and repair a bunch of targets and stands on Friday morning. THANKS GUYS!

James (Stage 7 CRO) worked his tail off and helped me tweak the stages, prepared the stage diagrams and only shot 1 stage (which was the fastest time BTW).

Jerry (Match Director) also only shot one stage, did an awesome job on the prize table and ran the prize table very efficiently.

Steve, the head stats guy, has never even shot a MG match but he was out there working every day and the scoring was flawless. Al and Steve did an awesome job and ran the most efficient stats I think I have ever seen.

Chris, A2 Director, thanks for the support and feedback and work on improving the MG rules! Troy, A4 Director and RMI for helping me work through a tricky call.

When you see these folks on the range, please thank them for their help and work. They all made this match what it was.
