Colored Anodizing a DPMS AR barrel

Alright guys, I need some help here. My wife is about to start an AR-15 build using a SunDevil upper and lower with a stainless DPMS barrel. Not too hard up to this point, but the real hard part is that she absolutely wants the rainbow finish that is on the New Sig P239 . My question is if anyone out there may know where or how I can make this happen. I know that there are a lot of people out there that have a whole lot more experience with this than I do, so please help me out here. She is dead set on this and you know how women are when they have their minds set to something.

Can make this happen using automotive paint. Yes, I can do it

The finish on those pistols and knives and such is a titanium oxide coating. The durability of such is a big question.

You cannot anodize stainless steel as far as I know. You're thinking of cerakote/duracoat/nitride type finishes.
