Looking at Colt/FN M16A4 complete uppers any difference besides name? Same Quality, issues etc..

Ive had both, both shoot wonderful. Probably easier to find a Colt upper from Brownells or similar than it would to be a FN upper, I havent seen many for sale separately.
Found some Colt M16A4 uppers with Kac or P&S handguards for sale $1175-$1250 on Gunbroker. I don't know if they are worth that?
IF you can find them, brand new Colt AR15A4 rifles complete are $1000... KAC rails new are $300 or about $100-$150 used on ebay depending on condition. Issue is always getting them as most are out of stock, and Colt just announced no more AR15 rifles. Maybe go scout your local gun stores for a remaining one on the shelf, but id imagine most on gunbroker will be inflated for market value since they will be harder to get. I think the FN AR15A4 complete with KAC rail is $1600 new.

Thanks for that info. I like the Vltor E-Mod stock or the Magpul ACS stock. More comfortable for me over the straight stock.
We've been referring to colt as the poverty pony at work for some time now. Either way. Colt is junk.
