Colt Monolithic upper ?

I duracoated a Colt for a friend of mine the other day, one of the newer Colt monolithic uppers. When I looked at taking off the dust cover it appears there is no way to remove the pins to get the dust cover off? Anybody with any experience on these things? I just coated the dust cover without any issues but the question has bugged me.

Both pins can be driven straight through. The barrel must be removed to get the front one out.

Ok, I may hav to look at another one, this one looked like the back side of the receiver was closed and the pins would have to be taken out the way they were driven in. Thanks
