Because, like most others of his ilk, he doesn't believe he's done anything wrong. Why would he take his life? I wouldn't want him to do that anyway. I don't want my enemies dead (unless they have to be for HD/SD reasons or they commit a "Capital Offense"). I want them very much alive... and "suffering..." as life on this Earth can often make them do, when the public "ignores" them and pays them no attention. I think that's the much greater punishment... having to live life with no relevance... with no one paying attention or giving your words credence... when all your "followers" have abandoned you for the charlatan you are.
I recall my "Intro to Psychology" class in HS. We did an exercise called a "Sociogram." It's a diagram to demonstrate each classmates' position relative to all the other classmates. Each classmate was asked to write down 3 people with whom they'd like to be/work/associate with more in class, and then also write the opposite (3 people they didn't want to be/work/associate with, etc.). The teacher tabulated the results and drew the "sociogram." The 3 classmates who got the most "positive" votes were labeled a "Star." Likewise, the 3 classmates who got the most "negative" votes were labeled a "reject." But the most devastating designation of them all, was the "isolate..." a classmate who got no votes at all, one way or another. No one cared about them or payed attention to them. Since each classmate was referred to by a number on the sociogram, we all knew who we were and where we stood. Well, we all knew our own numbers... not anyone else's.
Thankfully, I was not any of those designations. I knew I wasn't a "star," or a "reject," but at least I wasn't an "isolate."
