So, I'll probably get flamed for this... 😂

I was in the market for a fairly basic, compact 3-12 scope for an AR22, SPF , non illuminated, exposed turrets, side focus, 30mm tube...that wasn't stupidly priced.

The rifle is for plinking, some informal matches and occasionally trying to see what it can get for groups out of it... still working on finding a target trigger that's 100% reliable with the 22lr... currently using an RRA NM... but anyway.

Not a ton of options for scopes out there that meet the compact criteria. I started looking at the USO TS-12, then I saw discovery and WestHunter had similar options...all were 3-12x44 with varying features & cosmetics and all China made. A some research led me to believe that Vector optics is actually the OEM for all those offerings..I don't know for certain if that's true or not though, but vector also has a couple of 3-12x44 options in their Veyron line (and some other power options in that series too)..the price was low enough that it was worth a shot. Gambled and ordered the SFP non illuminated version off their US website... which I'll admit looks a little sketchy, but it's legit...my scope shipped from Utah and I had it in about a week.

Technically, I think this is an air rifle scope, but is rated for recoil up to some mid range centerfire cartridges...so, absolutely fine for use on a 22lr.

For a budget option I am surprisingly happy with it. The optics are good, adjustments are firm but smooth and clicks are positive. From what I've seen so far, repeatable...I've only gone from 50 to 100 and back and it returned to zero.

This is the one I ordered:

Not going to call these impressive 50 yard targets, but after sight in, I tried...🤷. Actually for an AR22 they aren't too bad, but the rifle can do better. I'm struggling with pulling shots with the RRA NM trigger. Dots are 1".

Also...I'm in NY, so this is a 'featureless' build... hence the fin grips... NY sucks.

Have one as well that I used on my high end air rifles. Scope works pretty well and glass is decent. I took it off due to weight as I found a few of the old Weaver MidwayUSA tactical 3-10 scopes for cheap. They were the best $200 Japanese made scope with resetable turrets, mildot reticle and light weight.
