I currently using Berger bullets for FTR competition;

.30 Berger 175 LRBT with MV @ 2,615 fps. For 400 - 600
Yards.
.30 Berger 185 LRBT with MV @ 2,535 fps. For 800 - 1,000 Yards.

Now I left only 200 each on hand. So, I plan to order more for next match.

Just wondering should I try a new design of Berger bullets;

.30 Berger 175 Tactical OTM
.30 Berger 185 Hybrid Target

Do anyone have an experienced with them?

My rifle was Stiller Tac 30 , 24" barrel with 1:10" tw.

Re: Comparing .308 win bullets

I used to run the 185 gr HPBT Match Bergers and started running the 185 gr Hybrids. The Hybrids exhibited a lot better accuracy at short range. I haven't really been able to get out to the long range to compare the Hybrids, but supposedly they have a higher BC than the HPBT Match bullets, so I think they are probably better in every way. The caveat is that you need sufficient twist to be able to stabilize them. 1:10" should be more than sufficient for you.

I have no experience with the OTM bullets, but I believe that these are basically a more consistent (and more costly) version of the 175 SMK. I love the 175 SMK, but it has a much lower BC than the other bullets you are currently using.
