Which do you prefer? Real world BC and drop/wind differences? Ive shot lots of the Hornady out of Hornady Black which is slow but accurate, only shot federal 262 which wasnt as accurate. Sierras cost a little more, Im shooting an 18" rifle length 1:7 AR loading to mag length. Anything I should be doing specifically when reloading these bullets for an SPR type rifle? Going to load 5.56 brass and powder levels cause faster is better right?

Also want to add the Hornadys have a much more uniform tip compared to the MKs which seem to always have jacked up looking tips.

Damn phone. Trumps velocity. Hornady 75s were $2 a hundred cheaper than Sierras, but every new 500-bullet sleeve I had to change seater depth due to varying bullet lengths and ogive shapes.
I feel you with the phone thing. I have also had problems with searhing the Hornady 75s but I think it me being new to reloading and learning these Hornady 223 dies, different from the rcbs 308 FL dies ive been using with no problems. Ive been crushing shoulders with my 223 trying to get the bullet to seat. It either stays up in the die or comes back out loose in the neck. I slowly adjust it down until it seats but still having issues.

Lots of people have become NRA High Masters and CMP Distinguished Riflemen shooting Hornady 75s. The target does not lie.

Never had I ever found in any barrel the Hornady 75's to be as accurate as 77smk. Submoa, yes. Anywhere near as accurate as 77smk, no. I find the 77cc more accurate than Hornady 75's butnthe 77smk trumps all. That's not just 100yd groups, that's shooting out to 800yds
