My experience is that parts from different suppliers usually work well together.
Not this week.
Origin .223 action in KRG Bravo chassis with a MDT magazine. Bolt overrides the round in the magazine. The bottom metal is not the one with the barricade stop with the adjustable mag catch release. I plan to call MDT asking if they have a longer mag catch release.
ARC CDG long action 7 PRC, McMillan stock speced for this combination, MDT bottom metal, MDT five-round metal magazine, and a three-round plastic magazine. The bolt drags on the magazine follower with both. The three-round mag is better than the five-round mag. Washers between the bottom metal and the stock fixed the problem, but this doesn't seem like a very professional solution.
I suspect the answer is to pillar bed both rifles, which is probably a good idea anyway.
This industry needs better standards.
