Can anyone speak to the compatibility (head spacing, etc) of bootleg enhanced upper receiver + bootleg adjustable bolt carrier group + proof .223 wylde ? I realize that proof barrels are headspaced for JP bolts, but if I could save $125 and use the bootleg bolt that would be ok with me(y)

Thanks

Your post is confusing. You are taking about a JP Wylde barrel. Then talk about a proof barrel.
In the end, either way, no one can really know. Get a no/go gauge. Only way you're really going to know.

Only way to really know is to measure the headspace if you are after the utmost accuracy. Next step down would be go, no-gauges for safety/function check. Third option is ASSume and pray Bootleg and Proof have their shit together on both your barrel and bolt. Have at it.

Another question then, does anyone know the dimensions on a JP 5.56/.223 Bolt so I can compare to my Bootleg bolt? I'll order a GO/NO GO gauge as well.
