Concealed carry holster opinions??

Personally like the comptac minotaur. Leather and kydex. Interchangeable kydex if you change guns later.

Appendix carry....Blade Tech Klipt IWB. I wear it for 13 hours straight several times per week and hardly know it's there. I find it more comfortable than the more expensive G-Code INCOG, which collects dust now. I carry a 9mm M&P Shield.
I use a JM custom kydex AIWB on my Glock 23 with no regrets. Very comfortable and his "wedge" makes it much less likely to print.
Galco king tuck, great for 3 or 4 o clock carry, i use one for glock 23, 27 and occasionally the 35

I'm not a fan of the hybrid style holster you mentioned for a number of reasons: first, they don't have very good retention. second, they have a big footprint, which makes it very hot. That's personal preference though.
If you're into leather, get a Milt Sparks SSII and be done with it. In stock at Brownell's.
If you're into Kydex, look no further than JM Custom Kydex. I know that there are cheaper options and they all look the same at first glance, but Tony Mayer's products are best in class, worthwhile investment. He has some quick-ship options for G23 too.

I use to make holsters for awhile as a hobbyist. I swapped to G-Code holsters IWB and OWB after using one. The $$ and wait time is worth it for what you are getting.
I carry à G23 in a Crossbreed Super Tuck, and have for 3 years. Bought and sold the "NEW" best thing. Super Tuck, hands down. Comfortable, lightweight, good retention while carrying, not bulky in the least, it just does what it is designed to do and does it extremely well.
I've used a crossbreed in horsehide and a Nate Squared. The N82 is great summer option...it's some kinda synthetic material and it's nice and cool.
FFR Holsters makes some good conceal carry holsters. Their FabriClip is great for when not wearing a belt.

The G-Code Incog is def the best. the clips are adjustable so you can adjust the cant and depth the handgun sits. also, the rear clip is on a alum spacer that helps keep the butt of the handgun against your body so you don't print as easily. The clips are also nice as you can take the gun off and put it on without having to redo your belt. I also love the "tactical fuzz" its much more comfortable to wear than having straight kydex against your skin. I have 4 or 5 of them. 3 for glock 19 (one with the spare mag, one std, and one with a light) and then one for my shield and another fom my M&P. I have a pile of holsters and have tried just about everything, including the super expensive leather ones from milt sparks and mitch rosen. the G-Code is by far the best IWB holster for CCW out there. It works well enough that I can carry my glock 19 with a T-shirt and shorts, a must if you want to carry in the summer heat of the south.
I second the N82 Holster. Well made and super comfortable. I use this holster for my G26 and you almost forget that you have it on.

I run The Alien Gear on my EDC which is an HK VP9. I've used one on a Sig P229 as well. From my experience it is the most comfortable IWB.

I really like the Raven Concealment Eidolon for AIWB. It looks big, but it conceals very, very well. I'd recommend getting the one with the tall body shield close to body, with the short/abbreviated shield away from the body. The INCOG does suck. worst AIWB holster ever. Kydex AIWB has never worked for me.
I've found the hybrid holsters conceal well, but the reholster isn't as good as the mouths sometimes collapse.
For leather, I prefer TT Gunleather over Milt Sparks. I've owned multiple versions of both as well as other big names. TT Gunleather is the best by quite a bit. You can get them with reinforced steel mouths as well.
Stay the hell away from anything Serpa and my one bad experience with the Raven Vanguard 2 style "holsters" was scary as all get out.

There are now so many kydex holster companies now to pick from. I have a few inside the pants (behind the hip) holsters from a local guy. They work at a reasonable price. Look at the thickness of the material that is used. If you have been carrying concealed handguns for a long time you will have boxes of holsters. I don't care for appendix carry myself. I know it has some advantages (fast draw) but i just can't get use to carrying there.If was going to buy a leather holster it would be from Ritchie Leather in Amherst New York. Skip was the partner of Lou Alessi who made some of the finest leather holsters.
Obviously, a lot of it depends on your body, what's comfortable, etc.

I carry IWB everyday. I started with a Comptac which was very nice, but once the leather started to wear down where the pistol was pressed against it, it would literally fall out. I have since been using the alien gear 3.0 and for the price its hard to beat. Feels comfy, pistol has a bit of resistance, and it doesn't have to be worn only at the 4 o clock.
I have tried iwb and owb and generally favor owb, but it depends on climate and body type quite a bit. For iwb I would suggest stealth gear onyx or similar or n82. Just be sure to try drawing a lot from N82 as I just couldn't get it very fast but this was with short grip p238 (the twist didn't have the leverage working against the body). Or just get the classic with sleeve, I wish they would just use kydex for their pro. Owb the numerous kydex pancake styles (bravo raven etc) are all pretty good I also like stealth gear flex but it is high on price.
