For years I have had a pair of Glock 19's with consecutive serial numbers. I thought they were interesting, so when one became available that ended me up with two consecutively numbered ones, I traded for it.

I'm thinking of selling or trading them off because I never use them. Is there any premium for the consecutive numbers, or does it just make the pair a little more interesting if someone was already looking for a pair? Does it even matter? I know that on some firearms it makes a big difference, on others it doesn't make any difference at all..

Unless you find someone who shares your interest specifically, I doubt you would find a value premium for it. Anyone can go to a gun store and buy two consecutive Glocks.

Really for any added value they would have to have something special about them and then they would still just be glocks.

Me, my dad and my brother all have Gen. 2 Glock 22s with consecutive serial numbers. Dad purchased them with vouchers obtained at an armorers course. They hold significant sentimental value, but I doubt they are worth more than any other G22. But to me, I wouldn't sell mine for any price.

Re: Consecutive serial numbered Glock 19's

The answers were kinda what I expected...they are Glocks at best...just consecutively numbered. So nothing really unusual about them other than the numbers.

Although I think Glocks are really reliable, durable, and accurate enough for what they were originally intended for (combat, not precision shooting), most of them have little "personality". But, as I see firearms as tools, the lack of "personality" in Glocks doesn't bother me any more than the lack of "personality" in a ball peen hammer does. Their purpose isn't to have "personality".
