So I have been wanting a precision rifle put together either by GAP or Longrifles and I want it built on a CRF action, preferably a winchester 70 classic. However, those rifles are like unicorns and expensive. So I might have to build one off the next best thing ( just desirability not quality) a CZ 550.
Are there folks here who have had precision rifles built on CZ 550 action? Any suggestion, comments or concerns?
How did they shoot? Picturs are most welcome.
Look forward to hearing for everyone

What caliber(s) are you considering? When you say classic do you mean a M70 made before 1964 or the modern M70 with CRF? Msrp for the 550 and modern M70 are comparable and I didn't have any trouble finding mine.

Modern CRF built after 1996 or something like that. Caliber at the top of the pile at the moment are 6.5 creed more. Might do a long action (30-06) base caliber but don't have one in mind.
I am seeing in Winchesters in the 600 realm, is that your experience too?

Any GAP built model 70 based precision rifles out there? Or pics of precision rifles built on cz550 actions? I like the urban sniper and the 750, but any that were put together by custom shops?
