There was a thread awhile go on SH about the R3D legs and I was trying to get a set and finally picked some up several weeks ago.
Definitely weight savings to be had and the cost to get Triple Pull height capabilities is less than buying an MDT CKYE-POD straight up, especially if you already have a Single or Double Pull. Along with the LRT MFG Fat Trimmer, I shaved a lot of weight compared to my Triple Pull which also has the Fat Trimmer head.
I'm running the converted CKYE-POD with a set of ADG bipod feet I recently picked up after I discovered they produce Atlas-compatible spiked feet where the individual spikes are replaceable.
I get that people aren't going to dump this much cash on a bipod, but I still think it's an interesting option to be able to go with a Single Pull and swap out the legs for a Triple Pull equivalent that's lighter.
