I have a Rem 700 ADL 270 Win I am wanting to convert to a BDL. I know I will need a new stock and bottom metal. I was wondering if I need a new mag box, follower and spring. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Peter.

you will need a BDL box, the follower and spring are GTG though. I read a post somewhere about modding an ADL box for the use but its been a while. The ADL box is a tid bit deeper from what I remember.

Yes, you would need to cut the bottom of the mag box a little bit. IIRC, the cut needs to be tapered from back to front taking more off the back portion. It is considerably easier to just but the bdl mag box. I did this before and it was a pain.
