Gunsmithing Converting Rem 700 7mm to a LA 300wsm

I have a 700 7mm that I want to make into a LA 300wsm with a new 700 take-off. Any hurdles to this, or is a simple barrel change good enough to make this work? Thanks.

Someone can correct me, but I believe the bolt face must be opened up.

if it is a 7mm mag you are good to go, I did the same several years ago

So a simple barrel change and that's it? Sounds great! Now I can load those Berger VLDs out where they belong. Thanks as always gentlemen. Let me know if you think of anything else.
