Rifle Scopes Correct method of measuring scope heigt?

Using a 20 moa base do you use the measurement for your drop table from eyepiece, turrets, or objective lens? Probably a dumb question from a dummy.

I use the turrets.

Turret or rings/mount.

If you don't feel comfortable typing to eyeball middle of the turrets you can back calculate. (Sine(.33333 deg) * distance from where you measure in front ring to center of turret) + center of bore to center of front ring = height over bore to middle of turret.
