The cosine of .3 degrees is .9999 so I'd say negligible.

You can also adjust the ACI so that it is parallel to the barrel.

Keep in mind that for the way my calculators give you answers (I am not speaking for other software out there), you want the angle measured with respect to the line of sight -- so you want the angle indicator mounted parallel to the scope, not the barrel.

Just some logical thinking here... But if you want the ACI parrallel with the scope and both the scope and the ACI are mounted on the same 20 MOA rail would they not indeed be parallel making the difference, Theoretically anyway, Zero. and for say it is off by what ever thousandths or tenthousandths or hundredthousandths you could not shoot the difference anyway.

Theoretically, you would have to mechanically zero out your scope so that it was looking dead straight through the tube (parallel to the top plane of the rail).
Realistically, it's all negligible.
