So I was just wondering if anyone thinks the Schmidt & Bender PMII PSR limited edition rifle scope which is now discontinued and from what I can tell can’t be found anywhere become a collectors scope. I think there were only 200 made, I could be wrong on that. Anyone think this scope could go up in value? We don’t need to turn this into a “just shoot your damn scope and don’t worry about it” shit show. I am just asking a simple question don’t read to much into it.

I think it may one day, The lower the number you have the higher the value, I think there were 300 made with no real way of selecting what number you received. It may take time but one day it may to people who collect gun memorabilia

Valid question. Case in point, the Lyman Alaskan. I've no idea of the retail price when they went out of print, but nowadays a decent one starts at $500 and goes up. Lyman Targetspots and Unertl target scopes are, at a minimum, holding high value.

It would be cool to own one, whether it has collector value down the road??? Personally, unless the internals are significantly better then the PM2 currently in production, I'm not going out of my way to find one. Would be way beyond my reach anyway,

I do own the scope in question I have it on a custom AR10 6.5CM and it has been great. This is my first S&B so I cant compare it to any other PMII. I have/had other high end scopes such as NF BEAST, NF ATACR, Vortex RAZ Gen II, Bushnell Elite. For me optically its probably been the best scope I have looked through with the NF BEAST and NF ATACR a very close second.
