I'm in the process of bringing a 6.5 Creedmoor rifle online for higher volume shooting through this summer. Had it at the range yesterday for it's test flight, barrel "break-in", and running a couple of ladders. Shot 120 rounds and gathered some great data. Before I order a bulk of reloading components, I had a couple of questions...
1. How many pieces of brass do people find they need for PRS competition? I'm wondering if 200 would be adequate or if I should prepare and firearm another 100 pieces.
2. I've run initial ladders with Hornady 143gr ELD-X pills, and am planning to order between 500-1000 bullets. I'm wondering if I should shoot the 140gr ELD pills, or just stick with the 143s; there's about a $20 price difference per 500. I plan to use this rifle for hunting and thus started with ELD-X.
Thanks in advance for any guidance.
