Hunting & Fishing Coyote down!

Shot me a coyote last night around 5pm. Was driving around after making a dud set and saw this guy about 150 yards off the field.ditch of my buddies place. Shot it offhand buried in a snowbank in the ditch at 150 yards. DOA and a dime sized exit hole. This was my first christening of my new Howa!

Seems like calling has been a little tough lately, going to try a new spot this evening.

We hang them from a gambrel for deer. Cut around the legs about 3" from the paw and make a slit down the legs where the fur changes colors towards the butthole. From there its trimming down to the head and being careful with the ears and lips.
