I know this sounds like a noob question but I have been assured these are not crimped. They are once fired and haven't been reloaded yet. Do these look like they are crimped?

Yes, those were crimped at original manufacture. Now since then, they may have been "swaged" so as to open the primer pocket to non-crimped dimensions. They may be selling it as a swaged set and calling it uncrimped (which would be inaccurate but represented to not require swaging or reaming).

I didn't realize that "staking" was broken down like that for primers. I was using the terms from staking bearings in place, which ends up being an annular crimp.

Thanks for clearing that up.
