Does anyone have any experience with these? From what I can tell all of their series use the same Japanese glass which has received a couple of good reviews. I am assuming that the tracking works as advertised until I hear otherwise. My intended purpose is short range shooting on a PCP air rifle (high power but not compared to a powder burner) in the neighborhood of 100 - 200 yards. Mostly want to hear about the glass quality as I was hoping to purchase a high power one and use it as a ranging spotting scope. I am aware that this can be a subjective area but I do believe that there are some standards that are equivalent to everyone’s eyes. Also, I enjoy just looking at stuff through my rifle scope if it is of high enough quality so the better the glass the better the experience. I have never had a scope that costs more than 800 bucks and probably never will unless I can get a great deal on a used one somewhere.

I have the series 5 3-18 on a savage 112 338 lapua. It holds zero and tracks. Glass is pretty good. I had a Sig tango 4, and a pst gen 2. All set at 18 power the sun was setting and the target was directly west. The T4 and pst 2 washed out from the glare of the sun, the Crimson trace had some glare, but I was able to keep shooting. The other two were done, I couldn’t see anything.

Wow thank you for the answer! I'm surprised it can hold its own even with those two competitors. As my search continues I found another deal on a Riton Mod 7 with the 34mm tube, so many choices is great, but it makes it hard to choose for me.

The t4 and pst 2 retail for close to 1000$ ish and the CT series 5 retails for 1600$ so I’d expect it to do better. And it did. But there are some well proven choices in the 1600$ range. I’m not saying the CT isn’t worth it. It’s doing very well for me. I got the CT for about a 1000$ scope in a trade, I believe I got the better end of the deal.
