Criterion 6.5 Creed Barrel

I don't always shoot like this, but this day I was doing pretty good... sample of one Criterion 22" barrel

I have had great accuracy with my Criterion 22" 6.5CM ( as well as other calibers and barrel lengths. )

I do all the "easy" tricks during assm.
I flubbed the flier... 10rds , 100yrds, benched, scoped, rapidish fire.

Mine is from when they were chrome lined vs nitrided, 16” rifle gas and 140 ELDM/143 ELDX are good for about 1.5 MOA ten shot groups with the majority being under 1 MOA. I’m not sure how much it’s the ammo though, Hornady consistency isn’t really there. I need to try some Federal GMM with Bergers.

If you were looking at their stainless 6.5 CM barrels, then I agree with going elsewhere. They might be fine, but there are plenty of great stainless options. But if you were looking at their nitrided barrels, you’ll get good precision for a gas gun and have a good deal longer barrel life. Just depends on what you want.

I do question rifle length gas in a 22” though. I use rifle length in my 16” and I have spare gas I tune out.
