I am thinking about purchasing a crossbow for deer etc. What sort of accuracy should I expect for a mid price range weapon? sub moa? 3", 5 bolt group at 50yds? also any advice appreciated
Thanks

Re: crossbow hunters

I had a excalibur recurve crossbow. It was very accurate. I bought it with their scope. It would put 5 bolts in a 2" group. Hit ratio 100% kill ratio 40%. Why? Who knows. I had a lot better recovery rate on bow hunting and I wasn't proud of it. Just quit bow hunting. I had about $950 in it after extra bolts blades and the rest. Sold it for $600.
