I am seriously considering a Crusader. My questions are. I have a set of .885 NF rings, will these work with a 56mm NF on the badgerr 20moa rail and the standard Crusader contour? How is the A-5 non-adjustable do you prefer the non-adjustable over the adjustable. There is a 5 month wait difference.

Can't answer your question about the ring height, but a possible solution to your A-5 wait time could be JW Precision. John seems to have both the adj and non-adj in stock. Maybe you can order from him and send it to GAP.
Also, might not be the color or pattern you're looking for, but could be a trade-off if you can't stand to wait an extra 5 months. Just a suggestion.

Just took this picture this morning...My Crusader has a 4-16X56 Hensoldt, with 1" high 34MM Badger's. The bell rides about 1/4" above the shank. I also have a 1/4" thick leather wrap around cheek piece that I added to raise the comb to a perfect fit for the shape of my face.

That Cheek piece is sharp. I have the rings on a Remington Varmint contour right now with about .100 clearance. just trying to figure out how much more diameter difference the barrel has.

I love my Crusader, but I will say if I had it to do over again, I would get the adjustable cheek piece. Currently I use an Eagle stock pack with padding underneath to raise the cheek weld. I am running a S&B 5-25x56 with 1" badger M40A3 rings and it puts the bell of the scope at about 1/8" above the barrel.

I ran Seekin's Low 34mm (0.92") with a 58mm USO and it barely cleared. I actually couldn't fit the BC Obj. cover on.

SKS guy,no the 885 won't work with the 56mm you need 1". I just picked up a crusader ready to ship a few weeks ago,I had them throw on a saddle cheek piece,they had it ready in 1 day. They are great people to do business with,and my crusader is absolutely amazing,get one and I'm sure you will love it. Good luck

I use the Badger USMC DMR rings on my crusader with a 56mm objective. It barely fits. About 2 mm above the barrel with scope caps. Hope this helps.
