Gunsmithing Cryo treating a barrel

I just started a thread on nitride treating and found some information in other places about cryo treating barrels for easier cleaning and better accuracy. I looked up cryo treating in the search engine here and did not come up with much. Who can weigh in on cryo treating barrels?

I have a half dozen cryoed barrels, done before it was all but proven, if not fully proven, to be compleatly worthless. Save your money.
If benchresters can find no value to it, there prolly isnt any.
