CSA VZ58

Does anyone have experience with the VZ58, especially long term with a high round count?

I have had one since 2007. Unknown round count because I never though about it due to having an awesome surplus barrel. If I had to guess, prob around 6-7k. Never really shot for accuracy because I was just shooting surplus blaster ammo through it. It’s light and fun to shoot. Not very modular like an ar can be. There’s is little aftermarket support for Handguard extended mag release and such. I got an old dtechnik (spelling?) receiver vz58. I am glad they are showing up more now.

Like mentioned above. They are not known for amazing accuracy. since they have a light barrel. But, I have had one for years that I picked for cheap. It has been very reliable for me.

AK operators Union was hitting targets with their CSA VZ 58 at 500 yards, and was grouping very well. The CSA barrel is made by Lothar and is pretty good.
