Current Rem 700 Police Questions :Triggers ? X-mark ? or 40X? Long throat/ Lead ?

Anyone have recent a production 700 P what style trigger do you have ?
Also is the barrel lead/throat longer than magazine length ?

I have one that is about 18 months.. it has the 40x trigger and the throat is longer....

Kinda what I was affraid of......
I special ordered the 700P only because I liked the stock better on it than the 5-R and about its $150 less. (figures ....the 5R was in stock)
It seams like long throats are not an issue with the 5-R series.

I've only ever had one Remington 308 that had a throat so long that is was a problem. Load em long.

For single shot loading thats fine but no eating out of the box.
