Have you been changing barrels by hand or with a barrel vise?

From looking at the pictures they are hand tight barrels because they are not threaded all the way up. All my hand tight barrels have a small gap next to the shoulder with no threads where the set screws clamp on and my torqued barrels are threaded all the way to the shoulder.

I bought the action for a build I'm doing. I have no use for the barrels so selling them. I never changed them. The barrel that was mounted spun right off figured it was loose. So maybe it was just hand tight.

Yes they have a ring where the set screws hold. The action doesn't have threads there so threading it all the way wouldn't gain anything.

Typically you have full thread, hand tight, or torqued options when getting vector barrels.

I’m interested in one of the barrels but I’d like to have conformation on how exactly they’re headspaced. I only torque mine so I prefer that it’s headspaced to be torqued.

I have no way of knowing unless someone can confirm how to tell the difference. From what has been said here I'm guessing they are hand tight.

check head space with gauges after hand tightening is one way. Otherwise a smith could tell you. Regardless, look into it and you may want to have what ever youre building cut for hand tight. Swap out barrels/calibers. I like the idea, others dont.

Still have the 6 CM barrel and just the EC tuner available.
