I have decided that I would like a Desert Tactical SRS chambered in 264 Win mag. Does anyone make custom barrels for this rifle? Also, I know that you can buy the chassis by itself, but is it possible to buy a bolt separately as well?

I do believe mark at short action customs is making custom barrels for the dta. I'd contact him and see what he says. He really likes the new dta's from everything he has told me

I believe most of the parts are available from Desert Tactical so yes you can order a bolt.

Do some checking on that one first. Some cartridges don't feed well in the DTA. That one might be fine, but do your homework first.

Thanks everyone. That answers my questions. I will contact Short Action Customs tomorrow and see what they say. As far as it feeding, they offer a conversion for 300 WM. Looking at the cartridge diagrams, the .264 WM seems to be very similar to it. Hopefully it will feed well.
