Custom Bolt Gun

I am considering ordering a custom bolt gun. I currently own a 30-06, a 300 WM and a couple of 308's. I currently reload. If I do this, I am looking at a 6 or 6.5MM projectile. I want a flat shooting gun. I would like a gun that would be well suited to competition. I have made no decision on maker, action, trigger, barrel length, or stock. If i do this I plan to mount a Nightforce Beast as the optic.

So, what would you guys suggest here and why?

I guess the first question is what kind of competition? I chose the 6 Dasher for mid range f class. But would have made a different decision for 1000. Most likely a 7mm. But may have went 6.5x284 too. That's my "competition" I don't have the tactical matches up here but all kinds of 6.5s show up here. Straight 260. Ai. Creed. My first 6.5 was a 260. Don't know how you could go wrong with it. Good velocity, lapua brass. Put it in configuration you want. On the scope. Back to what kind of competition you are talking about?

one thing to keep in the back of you head is if you choose the 6BR case or a fireformed version you may have a hard time feeding from a mag.
