DI Precisions is pretty new to the hide so we would like to introduce ourselves. We build custom precision 22s to your specs, barreled actions or complete builds.

Our most common choice is MTU or straight taper 22-24in threaded for a EC tuner. We ship these rifles to you tested and verified for accuracy and functionality.

We also offer the Lapua testing facility as a option. When the rifle is verified at our facility we will ship it to Lapua and have ammo tested in it to give you a even more accurate combination. Once we pick the best lot number of ammo - you will have the option of buying between 1- 5k rounds.

Hmm, you know what they say... timing is everything. I have a project and might can use your service. Call coming shortly.

Ya'll must be very busy. Tried calling several times and got a busy signal. No opportunity to leave a message.

DI did this one for me, I’ve had it about a month now at it shoots lights out!

Let's see some pics of your builds and targets. Do you thread the barrel for the EC or do you use the adapter?

A couple of questions. Can you comment on your process for verifying the accuracy of your rifles? What are the specs you target when checking for accuracy? Also, what actions do you build on? I assume Vudoo, but did not see anything specific in your post. Do you build rifles with other actions?

Thanks,

RFS99

Most of rifles are built off of a Nitrided Vudoo action we have done. We’ve also done RIMx actions aswell. We have “test chassis” foundation, and MPA that we use to make sure all rifles feed reliably. Our accuracy testing is done by Shooting groups at 50 100 and 200 yards. We expect our rifles to shoot sub MOA at all of these distances. Most of our rifles are also sent to Lapua for testing once approved by us.

One follow-up. Do you also build off the V22s action or other benchrest actions, like Turbo (V1 or V3), or Holeshot Arms (2500x or Trident) .22 actions? I'm thinking a 50 yard rifle, single shot, with accuracy of a 5 shot group (in a tunnel) of <10mm edge to edge, with preferred ammo.

Thank you,

RFS99

We have done plenty of V-22s barreled actions. Not opposed to other platforms but most of our rifles have been on the vudoo. Those groups are very common in our rifles… I’ll attach a few screen shots from a rifles resent test results.

50 or 100 yard groups?

I'm thinking about letting DI Precision rechamber my Ultimatum Deuce barrel. Supposed to have a Calfee 4 chamber but the bullet doesn't even make contact with the rifling.

What barrels are you finding to be most accurate? And what barrel lengths are you sending out most?

Very cool! Got to shoot with Chris (Maniquiz) and was mightily impressed with his rifle! I'll be hitting y'all up for a re-barrel in the future!

What is the specs on this set up?
Gen 1 Vudoo that I have had forever. I had DI spin me a 23” MTU profile Mullerworks and it has 3/4” threads for the EC tuner. Foundation centurion stock that matches my dasher, triggertech Diamond trigger, Hawkins bottom metal and Hawkins heavy rings. I also have the tungsten weight kit to add weight to it and make it balance better. It now has a Tangent Theta 5-25 optic on it. I really like the L3i mags in it, it’s been really reliable with those.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback, great set up!

There has been alot of testing out there at 200 yards that shows ammo to be the limiting factor. Are you consistently getting sub moa at 200?

Very cool. I'm entertaining to rebarrel my RH Gen 2 from 20" MTU to 18" CF proof. Ultimate goal is to make a light set up.

Can we see some 100 and 200 yard groups?

How does the gun shoot without the tuner? Thanks

Have no idea, I have never shot it without the tuner. It shoots really good with it though.

Yes with Midas +
Center X
And eley
SK long range aswell.
We have had clients send it pictures of groups at 300 that were sub MOA.

That’s hard to believe with the SD numbers of some ammo. But it seems that there are plenty of lots out there getting it done.

When we started we did a pretty extensive test with multiple of the same brand barrels and we received some very consistent results from muller and krieger barrels. So that’s what we offer. We will chamber in whatever you provide as well. Using our same methods of insuring zero runout.

When you send it out for testing does lapua make adjustments to the tuner or do they leave at your setting ?
