I am looking for a gun to throw under the seat of my truck that I won't be torn up over if it got stolen. I've found a guy that specializes in customizing these guns.
What I want to know is what varmint calibers will work out to 600yds with an 18" barrel?
I've been reading about the 22-250 ai, 22x47l, 6x47l, ect. I don't have any experience forming brass so whatever I go with would have to be available for purchase.
I'm leaning towards something in the 6mm bullet because while this will mostly be used on coyote and groundhogs, there may be the occasional deer.
