Anyone have experience with mounting a scope to a CZ 457 LUX.? This is my first attempt but to me, I only have 2 options as one of the scope mounts has a stop pin and I only have these 2 options to mount it which although can be very tight and solid, just appears to be hanging over the front and rear of the rail. The rail has 4 spots for the stop pin but the other 2 are not options. Or do I simply need a Picatinny rail? Hope I am making sense.

A picatinny rail is always the answer. They are infinitely better for ring and main tube placement.
Are those CZ rings? Have you tried rotating the rings 180 degrees? Have you tried moving the front ring to the back and the back ring to the front?
