Not sure if anyone can help with this question, but thought I'd ask. I have heard that the CZ rifles supplied globally come in two variations - the 'American' and 'European' (not to be confused with the 452 American rifle) - which is something to do with the US laws on moderators, and for some reason the bolt pattern from action to stock is different.

Does anyone have any information on this, and how different the bolt placements are? In other words, will a US-made CZ452 stock fit either an American or European variant, or would you have to specify the difference to the stock manufacturer?

Re: CZ bolt pattern

I'm not aware of any difference other than the 452 American model which has two action screw instead of one action screw and one barrel screw like all the other 452 models.

Yeah, there are some scope rail differences and some models with band type rear sights affect the stock fit. I was thinking of action difference that affect the stock inlet. There are also the 453 models with the American (two action screw) action and single set trigger.
