Good evening gentlemen! With the shortage of powder (on my reloading bench and any store in the nation) and bullets and primers, and cases, I've decided to take a short break from reloading and tinker with my rifles. So today I removed my nightforce off of my UHR, because it wasn't square to my action, and I got to wondering... are these one piece direct mount rings I have shit? I don't particularly like them anyway because they are rather high, so if I get enough nays on their performance, I'll probably just through them into the junk bin and buy new. I appreciate the time fellas.

Are they nightforce mounts? You just said one piece uni mount, I assume is nightforce. Is it aluminum or steel? Nightforce does booth and I'm not the biggest supporter of aluminum scope rings/bases. Look up NEAR manufacturing. There unimount is build like a tank but is still light

They are aluminum. CZ only includes them on this package deal (the rifle came with an NXS from factory), so I am inclined to say that they worked with Nightforce to have them specifically made for this application.
Checked out NEAR, their Alphamount is considerably lower compared to mine. What makes them superior to Nightforce or Badger? Weight, 25 MOA over 20 MOA? I guess I don't understand what makes one base better than another.
