CZ rifle action markings

I have a question that I'm hoping someone can help me with. I ordered a .17HMR CZ 452 Varmint earlier in the week, and went to pick it up this morning. I have just been fitting the replacement bottom metal (from Staffordshire Synthetic Stocks in the UK, and noticed that the action is stamped:

"CZ 452-2E-ZKM AMERICAN"

..which I thouught was odd. Having had a good look through the CZ rifle models we can get here in the UK the American does look a little like the Varmint, but I would have thought the rifle would carry it's own model name.

The barrel is the heavier type, not the 'sporter' barrel fitted to the Style and Silhouette which tapers quickly in front of the action, which I think is also fitted to the American model. Can anyone shed any light on why the rifle is marked in that way?

Just looked at my CZ452 Varmint, it is marked "CZ 452-2E-ZKM". The word "American" or "Varmint" is not on my rifle. A CZ452 Varmint has a 11mm dovetail receiver. The CZ452 American has a 3/8"/10mm dovetail Receiver. Also the Varmint has a barrel lug/bolt and first bolt in the trigger guard holding the stock. The American should have 2 bolts into the receiver holding the stock. My Varmint is a 22lr version.

Ok this may not apply to the .17HMR Varmint, but it does to the 22lr CZ 452's.

Mine doesn't have the varmint or American name either. Bizarre.
