CZ tactical rifles

Anyone laid hands on any of the CZ tactical sniper style rifles like the 750 sniper or 550 urban counter sniper models? Seem to be priced well if they are any good.

I know a guy that special ordered an urban sniper with a longer barrel and loves it, I have a bunch of CZ's but not dedicated sniper rifles and they all shoot lights out

I know that most of CZ's hunting rifles are good to go, but I havent been able to find one of their tactical rifles yet.

I don't have either of those models, I do have a CZ and love it. Well made, customer service is top notch too.

That said, @ $2,400 I would recommend you get A Sako-TRG. They are a wee bit more expensive but they are absolutely awesome!

I like the TRG setup as well. Currently shooting a GAP crusader and dont really have any need for another bolt gun. It will take alot to replace this one. Just curious about the CZ's, dont really plan on buying.

I do not own any of the cz's that you have listed. I have however owned a few cz rifles and pistols in the past. They are great shooters imho.

I have a CZ550 Varmint rifle in .308win and I love that rifle. Excellent performance right out of the box! My next rifle purchase is definitely going to be a CZ550 Magnum H.E.T. in .338 Lapua. I have had friends trying to convince me that I could spend that much money more wisely by purchasing this or that rifle or custom building, but I'm sold on CZ and will be getting another one. I think the performance of these rifles will not disappoint.

I have shot the CZ750 a few times, the one with the AICS looking stock. It shot very well with a wide variety of ammo. Its a big heavy gun, not bad but would rather have a trg.

The urban counter sniper is nothing more than a varmint kevlar that has been cut down and a surefire break installed.

There are several threads on this and other forums, one of the posters said that he had called CZ and was told this specifically.

I believe the varmint kevlar runs about 750 and the surefire break about 125. add the cost of cutting the barrel back and threading, you still save about 1000 bucks
