These should be available in about 4 weeks and you can attach it to a back plate that already has the D1-4 studs:
I just made my own. I got a D1-4 backing plate from Lost Creek Machine and turned it down to the spindle OD. Drilled and tapped for 3/8 x 24TPI at 90 degree intervals on the circumference. 3/4" thickness made it plenty stout and by not going with a backplate/spider arrangement I gained about an inch of pass through length. One of the setscrew holes intersects the pin hole but that was easily worked through. Works like a champ and I think I have $50.00 in it and an hour or two of time. Well worth it.
