So I just recently put together this Remington 700 SPS. Swapped out the Hogue stock for a Bell & Carlson, PRI 20 MOA Base & Rings, Harris Bi-Pod with pod lock, SureFire muzzle break and SOCOM762-RC Suppressor and topped it off with a NightForce NXS 3.5 x 15. Tomorrow I get to pull the trigger on it finally!

Very nice. I just got the chance to shoot my new SOCOM 762 today. Very happy with the results.

Wow JD, very nice! I just got back from the range with some very disappointing results. Not with the suppressor (I know that is good to go) but the first time out with the rifle was dismal. I believe it is my fault in going cheap on the gun. I shot strings of 150 FMJ - which I knew would not group, but just to break in the barrel and get me on paper. I then shot both 168 FGMM and 165 SGK.
The groups did tighten up a bit as I put more rounds through the barrel, but never better than MOA at 100 and at 300 the 165 SGK opened up to 2.5 MOA, while the 168 FGMM held the 1 MOA. It was starting to warm up quite a bit with too much mirage. My last string was 165 SGK out of my 700 LTR in the AX stock in the picture and it was easily sub MOA without much effort.
I might be too hasty here, but am considering swapping the barrel out with a Bartlein or Krieger barrel????
