So I decided I wanted to pick up an Eotech! I wanted to get eventually throw a 3x magnifier on it as well... Here is what I did, I am pretty sure I really messed up, lol.
So first thing, I did was pick up an Eotech XPS 2-2. I thought this was correct as I figured I would get the Larue LT-110. I then figured I would just get a G23/33 and throw on a LT755-S-EO.
Well, am I a total jerk. Seeing that I didnt really read up or even look at the LT755-S-EO I just assumed that this was meant to be used in conjunction with the LT-110. Since I had the money for the magnifier I looked into this a little more. NOPE...Grrr.
Looks like I needed the EXPS and the LT755 will line up correctly
So now I have a XPS 2-2 (NIB never taken out) and a LT-110 (NIB never taken out). I called the company I got the Eotech from and he said I could return it for the
EXPS 2-2 and pay the difference and Larue said they would take back the mount with no issue and I could just get the Magnifier mount.
Does this sound correct or, would you all do something else/go a different route? I want an Eotech and I want a magnifier behind it. I just want to be sure I am not wasting anymore time in buying and returning.
I read the Vortex magnifier is nice as well... anyone have any recommendations on magnifier?
