Dan Dowling custom .223

I went to an auction over the weekend and was able to buy this nice Dan Dowling custom .223 for $1025.00. I did'nt think that was too bad a price for a very nice custom rifle 40X hart barrel and a jewel trigger.

Looks like a nice rifle to me. Be sure and update this thread after you take it to the range. I will be interested in hearing how it shoots for you.

I would say you did very well. I was interested in it when I got there but decided to save my money for the 40x 22lr. Im interested in a range report. I got a feeling its probably gonna be a shooter

Dans the man and 1 hell of a smith. Been building rifles long long time. Nice rifle and sure it's a winner.

yeah i got it. picked it up for $1000. Ive been wanting a 40x 22lr for a while and this was one of the better ones i have seen.
