I had a pair of Acadias in my cart and when I hit checkout I get "Danner is over capacity, check back later"
So I guess they shut the site down.
That deal was too good to be true, wish I had hit checkout about 5 minutes earlier.

Phones jammed too, message says to call Sunday between 10am and 4pm PST. Says "experiencing technical difficulties due to high volume".

Been trying to call for an hour. Looks like they are in hiding.
I know they didn't expect this much volume.

The website is back up today, but the code does not work.
I sent an email, we'll see what happens.

Just got through on the phone. This deal was supposed to be limited for friends & family of Danner employees. When I asked about the discount, the young lady said to contact the Danner employee who advised me of the opportunity, and they would work it out.

When I asked if this was a general promotion for the public, she said "definitely not."

Kudos to the guys who were able to get through and order yesterday. My order timed out at least ten times, the lines were busy, and the site crashed later.

Really would not of mattered. I tried from 8 pm till midnight eastern time, and could not get through to the website to place an order.

Danner's apparently has a lot of friends and family.....

I have been looking for deal on shoes for no joke five months and my wife was sick of me checking all the stores with no luck.
Then this deal came by and I got an order placed and now I will have the boots I wanted at half the price.

I spent about an an hour trying to get the items in my cart last night, a half hour trying to get the promo code to enter. By the time it all got worked out the site crashed.

Then i spent probably an hour trying to get through on the phone lines today to be told this was for ONLY friends and family of Danner Employees. I'm not one to try to bend rules, but they should made it alot clearer on the frigin flyer so alot of people wouldn't have wasted time like me.

I have been wanting to try out a pair of Danner Hunting boots for a number of years. Gave Danner a phone call Saturday afternoon when I decided I was not going to even attempt to waste a minute trying to do a website transaction. I was in the call holding queue about 10 minutes and I had a pair of "Hood Winter Lights" and a pair of "Canadians" ordered.
Emailed my brother to tell him about the Danner Sale and he emailed me back an hour later to tell me that he nailed down 2 pair of "Striker II EMS side zip uniform boots for work (firefighter/EMT).
It was a good day. The stars do not align for us very often.
