Rifle Scopes Dating IOR...which generation?

I'm looking at picking up the IOR below, but I can't determine the exact age (seller isn't 100% sure). It looks like it may be one of the Gen 4 SH Edition IOR 3-18s, but I am not positive. Any ideas?

You say you want to pick up and date an IOR? With her or any other scope I'd really make sure she's 18.

I think all the differences from gen 1-4 are internal. The newest model 3-18 has the digital push button illumination and christmas tree MP8 reticle, its obviously not that one.

My guess would be a second Gen 3x18 I think that was the first gen to use the larger knobs. Val at IOR can tell you. If you need his number let me know
