David Tubb Final Finish for Remington 700 SPS

I did a quick review on the David Tubb Final Finish. It's made to clean up any tooling marks and help with lapping the barrel. Check my vid out.

Never. The Final Finish system is made for factory barrels. The TMS system however can be used on custom barrels. I used it on a custom .243 with good results.

Amen to that. Final Finish is useful for cleaning up a $40 factory barrel. It would be silly to use it on a $300 custom barrel.

It works, but it won't magically turn a rock thrower into a laser.

I used it on two Rem 700 Varmint Synthetic factory barrels (.223 and .308) and both went from 3/4 MOA to 1/2 MOA. It definitely reduced the flyers.

Also used it on a stainless Rem 700 Sendero factory barrel in 300 RUM. Afterwards it would shot 1/3 MOA. Not bad for a factory gun.

For factory barrels this is standard procedure for me.

More often than not I cut my groups by nearly 50%.

I have a Final Finished Savage that shoots pretty good.
