I own a S&W I-Bolt chambered in 30-06. I was wondering if a Remmy 700 DBM would be compatible. Fill me in if you can.

Thanx,
Hugo

Re: DBM Question

I think they are pretty significantly different as far as action lengths go.

I'm not perfectly sure, can you perhaps measure the action?

Just a little wishful thinking

Re: DBM Question

I would stay away from the Remington bottom metal with detachable mags. Putting it bluntly they are crap. Completely unreliable. There are tons of better choices to include Badger, CDI, Seekins, Surgeon, etc.

I'd just like a 5 round mag, and not have to dump my rounds out the bottom. It's really just for convenience.....
