Gunsmithing DBM that WORKS WELL for Remington 700 in 30-06

OK, I've got a strong desire for a Remington 700 in 30-06 with a DBM that works well and the mags are accessible. I've looked at the commercial offerings and I'm not reading any real good reviews on a set up for the Remington long action conversion. I was wondering why no one had produced a trigger guard/magwell assembly that used a mag from Remington's line of auto-loader/pump action rifles (740 & 760 series). Is this just NOT feasible, I'm just asking for your thoughts and suggestions on this project. Thanks in advance, joseywales44 .

Dont try to re invent the wheel here. Get a bottom metal that handles AI long action mags, the 300WM type. Bend the mag lips in a bit to hold the 06 case correctly, get the bottom metal set up correctly in you stock and never look back.
